There are rules to follow when using the homebrewers@hazeclub.org mailing list;

1. No solicitation of goods or services. Everyone already gets enough junk mail. However if you find Old Foghorn in good condition for $0.10 a bottle or some other great beer related deal send it to the list! Just ask yourself first “will this mail benefit members of this list or is this mail just to benefit myself, a friend or relative?”
2. No hate mail. Please treat others as you would have them treat you. It’s OK to disagree but let’s not be hateful.
3. HAZE reserves the right to refuse a subscription to this list to anyone.
4. HAZE reserves the right to add more rules if needed.

Realize that mail messages distributed by this mail list go out to more than just HAZE members. Friends of HAZE are also on this mailing list. Please specify if something is only for HAZE members consideration, purchase, etc…

The homebrewers list now supports subscribing to a digest version of the homebrewers mail list. In other words instead of getting each mail message as they are being posted by the sender the mail list will bundle them all into a single message that is sent to you once a day if mail was posted during that day. This feature can be configured when you sign up below or you can edit your profile in the subscribers section below to enable digest.

Okay so you have a mail message ready to send and you want it to be distributed to the HAZE members and friends on this mail list. Send the mail message to homebrewers@hazeclub.org. The mail message will now go to every email address that’s subscribed to the list. Your email address will be shown as the reply address.

1. Using the ordinary reply will respond only to the person who sent out the original message.
2. Using the reply to all will respond to the entire distribution list. There is now a rule in place to prevent a reply to all from sending multiple emails to list subscribers who also appear in 'senders'.

Subscribe to Homebrewers by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.

Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
