I had no idea there was such a variety of German
styles! I guess since the European Union ruled that the
Reinheitsgebot couldn't be enforced, things have
exploded.

It's not too late to brew some kind of more traditional
German style (there are even non-lagered or short
time-lagered bottom fermenting beers. 

It's also not too late to save some money to buy some
good German commerical beer to bring, if you have the
inclination.

I will be posting the Speisekarte (menu) some time this
week. Be on the lookout. It looks very good.
