[Homebrewers] Base malt answer, and new question

Looks like the Caramunich and Carapilsner malts have no enzymes, so they
need a base malt (with enzymes) to mash properly.

New question: anybody have 4 pounds of two row pale malt they can part
with? I'd like to pickup tomorrow AM.

Thanks,
Dave

Subject: [Homebrewers] Base malt question

Is it reasonable to use Caramunich and/or Carapilsner malt as my base
malt? I have only 3 pounds of the carapilsner, but I have plenty
caramunich.

Will I need to acquire some standard two row malt to make this batch
happen?

Thanks,
Dave
