[Homebrewers] Kirkwood thin-air chili cookoff & beer tasting

This Saturday, Aug. 30th. is the Kirkwood Chili cook-off and brew fest.  I have gone the last few years and it is a fun event.  Good chili & good beer.  There is no traffic on Saturday getting there, the air is clean and it's been nice and cool the last few years.  I don't know if it's too late to enter the cook-off.  

In addition, for the skiers, there is a ski swap from 0900 - 1200.  See Kirkwood's info below.  

I'm planning to go again this year,  Anyone interested in a carpool, let me know and we will see what we can arrange.

8/30 Thin Air Chili Cook Off
"Thin Air Chili Cook-Off," starts at noon with live music, beer & wine tasting. Chili tasting begins at 1pm with ballots due by 3pm and prizes awarded at 4pm. First Prize is a $300 Kirkwood Gift Card.  To register, contact abroadhurst at kirwood.com or call 209.258.7386.

8/30 Annual Kirkwood Ski Swap
9am to noon. Bring out your old gear to sell or buy some new gear for your quiver. Kirkwood Mountain Sports will be open as well, with great pre-season savings. To reserve a table call 209.258.7386.
