Beer Camp is behind us and what an excellent event it was!  HAZE took 1st place for booth grub, thanks to the hard work of Pat, Pagti, Maddy and the Backunds.  But if you haven't heard, Pat Kenneally apparently didn't get the memo.  Pat, it's Dead Palate Society, not Dead Pat Society!!
 
Pat suffered a brutal fall Saturday resulting in a nasty compound fracture of an ankle, an ambulance ride to the hospital and three hours of surgery!  Pat's doing well, Steve and Nora have been in touch and the Z's paid a visit yesterday. hopefully he'll be home mid-week.
 
I recommend we do an honorary brew on the BBS - crash and burn stout, or something.  By the way, Pat, Justin of the Brewing Network wants you on his show!!
